Verifying Charges:
If you notice a charge on your credit card, it is likely a pending transaction. To confirm, follow these steps:
-
Log into Your Account:
- Access your account on our website.
-
Navigate to My Orders:
- Select the "My Orders" option.
-
Check Your Orders:
- Completed orders are the ones charged to your card.
- Orders in process are not charged yet.
Multiple Pending Transactions: Why?
If you see more than one pending transaction on your card, it might be due to an AVS (Address Verification System) mismatch.
-
AVS Mismatch Explanation:
- No actual charge occurs when an AVS message is received. The amount is automatically declined by our card processor as part of fraud verification.
- The transaction will be labeled as "Declined" due to an address or ZIP code mismatch.
- The card processor receives the declined transaction message at midnight on the transaction day to release the pending amount.
Billing Process Overview:
- When you place an order, we receive an "Authorized/Pending Capture" amount from your credit card.
- The actual capture of the amount occurs at the labeling stage.
Pending Amount Release:
- The time it takes for the pending amount to be erased from your credit card account varies and cannot be precisely determined.
Cancelled Order and Credit Card Charges:
If your order has been cancelled, the appearance of a charge on your credit card is likely due to an "Authorized/Pending Capture." This means:
- Your credit card authorized the amount, but we voided it by cancelling the order.
- The card processor receives the voided transaction message at midnight on the day of cancellation to release the pending amount on your card.
